Designing for the Future: A Practical Look at ESG and Digital Transformation
April 28, 2021 | 11:30 – 12:30 pm
Topic:
As organizations in the Oil and Gas industry strive to gain social and regulatory support for their projects, their understanding and application of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) practices is becoming as important as their core base business. In addition to this new reality, companies are exploring the new and evolving technology possibilities to digitally transform their operations and businesses. Digital innovations and technologies provide some of the few tools available to industry today that can lower costs, optimize operations, and meet the moving targets of ESG objectives. This talk will explore how ESG and Digital transformation are converging to define a new design basis for the future of our energy industry and will include tangible examples of how some companies are achieving both their digital and ESG goals today.
