Gas Processors Association (US) The Gas Processors Association (GPA) is an organization of operating and producing companies engaged in the processing of natural gas in the United States.

The GPA publishes an electronic newsletter on a monthly basis to highlight current GPA activities. To receive a copy directly from GPA - please email Johnny Dreyer at jdreyer@gasprocessors.com and he will include you in the distribution.

Gas Processors Association (Europe) The Gas Processors Assocation (GPA) Europe, founded in 1983, is the leading technical organization in Europe actively promoting the exchange of information on gas processing matters among operators, consultants and suppliers.
Gas Processors Suppliers Association (US) The Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) is an organization of companies engaged in meeting the supply and service needs of the natural gas and gas processing industry in the United States.
Petroleum Joint Venture Association The Petroleum Joint Venture Association (PJVA) represents and supports individuals and organizations involved in petroleum joint ventures. PJVA provides a multi-disciplinary forum to address current petroleum joint venture issues.

Society of Petroleum Engineers The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) mission is to collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources, and related technologies for the public benefit; and to provide opportunities for professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence.

Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) is the voice of Canada's upstream oil and natural gas industry, representing over 130 member companies.

Canadian Heavy Oil Association The Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA) goal is to provide an appropriate technical, educational and social forum for those employed in, or associated with, the heavy oil and oil sands industries.

NACE The National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) was established in 1943 by eleven corrosion engineers in the pipeline industry. With more than 60 years of experience in developing corrosion prevention and control standards, NACE International has become the largest organization in the world committed to the study of corrosion.

Canadian Standards Association Seminars The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Oil and Gas Seminars are offered throughout Canada for various topics related to the Oil and Gas industry.

Alberta Boilers Safety Association ABSA (Alberta Boilers Safety Association) is the pressure equipment safety authority for Alberta. ABSA administers Alberta's pressure equipment safety programs under the Safety Codes Act, and has the authority to enforce pressure equipment safety as set out in the legislation.

Educational Institutions
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is recognized in Canada and around the world as a leader in combining hands-on learning with leading-edge technology. Within nine months of graduating, 91 per cent of the graduating class of 2000 found employment related to their field of study. NAIT offers 195 programs including certificates, diplomas, applied degrees and 32 apprenticeship offerings.
Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology provides training to 75,000 course and program registrants per year with 35 programs nationally accredited. Studies show a graduate employment rate of 99 per cent with 97 per cent of graduates recommending SAIT for career training.

University of Alberta The University of Alberta in Edmonton is one of Canada's premier teaching and research universities serving more than 30,000 students with some 7,000 faculty and staff. University of Alberta scientists are recognized world-wide for significant achievements and contributions. Most recently, the University of Alberta breakthrough research in the treatment of diabetes has become known as the Edmonton Protocol.

University of Calgary The University of Calgary is home to scholars in 17 faculties (offering more than 100 academic programs) and more than 30 research institutes and centres. More than 27,600 students are currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs. The U of C has graduated 135,000 alumni over its 43-year history, including the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper.
